system.mdw not found error and related

I followed the instructions in the document to the letter. They were quite concise. However once I actually ran the report that I had set up I got a "system.mdw not found" error. I looked for the system.mdw file and copied it to the local OC program folder and re-ran the report.

This time I got "Can't open database 'C:\Program Files\OC\System.mdw'. It may not be a database that your application recognizes, or the file may be corrupt."

Any suggestions?

Can you elaborate on what you were trying to do? What document were you reading? the ODB users manual?
Were you using Access or Open Office for report writing, and if so, what versions?
Where did you obtain the file system.mdw? What made you think that the ODB program files folder was the place to install it?
