ODB 1.1 Release Candidate 3 Released

1/8/08: Some good news: we found a few remaining issues and fixed them all, and we now have the third release candidate of ODB 1.1 available.

So if you want to test ODB 1.1 please use the full installer for release candidate 1, at:

http://organizersdb.org/1.0/odbinstall-1.1.exe

and then upgrade this to release candiate 3 by replacing the files odb.exe and converters/convert1.1.exe with the files in this hotfix (either one):

http://organizersdb.org/1.0/odb1.1.rar (760K)
http://organizersdb.org/1.0/odb1.1.zip (1100K)

The new conversion utility is only needed if you plan to use the new 'jobtitle' feature.

We are still undergoing some testing with nonprofits in the Buffalo and New York City areas, but this should be completed quickly and it will only take another week to get out a final release of version 1.1.

-Rich Cowan, ODB Project Director

p.s. Below is a list of what is fixed in release candidate 3!

Note: we are not providing a new ODB sample database in the hotfix, but prior to the final release we are going to run the new conversion utility on the sample DB so that thank you features and job title features work correctly. You can do this on your own during your testing if you use the ODB sample database.

Major issues resolved
