Importing, mass delete and passwords

Hi there,

I'm trying out ODB and imported data from an Excel file as a trial run. For some reason some people's names are displayed in the order of first and last and others are in the order of last and first, even though it was consistent in the Excel sheet. So that's issue number 1.

After playing around with the data and codes, I realized that I want to do a better job of assigning type codes in the Excel sheet before importing. I'd like to do a mass delete and start over. When I go to do this I am told to enter a password. I keep getting an error message saying my password is incorrect. I am using the same password I used to log on to my user account today. I don't recall needing another password...is there one that I am missing?

Thanks!

Megan

Hi Megan -

Hi Megan -
The default password for ODB databases is "admin", which is documented in the PDF version (the complete version) of the user manual.
This should help you get started.
Also, google for:

ODB import tracking codes

for something that we wrote 4 years ago on importing codes. You are on the right track.
