One SRC code and not the other

I have a couple SRC codes related to an event we're doing.

One is for the people who we invited to sponsor it. "SP09"

Another is for the people we just invited to come. "ANO9"

Some of these overlap, tho, so I'd like to do a search for people with SPO9 but NOT "AN09" so that I can run a list of labels of those I haven't already sent an invite too.

This whole "NOT" thing actually often comes up for me... so, I just don't know how to do the negative side.

hi Brady --
The way to do this in ODB is to create a new code, call it MAIL101.
Select the SP09 people and use mass action to set the mail101 code for all of those people.
Then select the AN09 people and use mass action to unset the mail101 code for those people.

Then use mail101 (in advanced search) to select your list.

Hmm..I think Brady's idea is great...you should try that..or you could do some research in other forums, research papers or even in essay writing on what's the best thing to do it..
